One of my projects currently in development, Typewriter Girls, was featured in the St. Louis Post Dispatch, 22 April 2008. You can read the article here. I'll be traveling to St. Louis in late May to do some research, including looking through Margaret Hickey's papers and also meeting alumni of Ms. Hickey's Secretarial School.

Newly Available

Persistence, a new short story of mine, has just been published in the latest issue of Route, Bonne Route, which you can purchase directly from Route, or on Amazon. The same publisher included another of my stories in the collection mentioned below, Ideas Above Our Station.

Also, in December, my short play, Pieces, was published in the latest issue of KNOCK magazine.

I'll be visiting St. Louis for a week in May to do some research for a developing project, Typewriter Girls and on 29 May will be hosting an event with Hickey College to meet Hickey alumni from generations past and talk to them about their stories. More information to come.

Two performance/installation pieces were produced in association with the launch of my latest literary project, New Acquisition. The first took place from 6-8 September at the 217 East 42nd Street Chashama space in New York and the second was part of the One Million Forgotten Moments project which ran in downtown Manhattan from 12-16 September. With the help of director Dyana Kimball, my latest piece for the theatre (still in development), Conversation, received a preliminary reading/performance at the Emerging Artists Theatre in New York City, as part of their One Woman Standing Festival, taking place from April 2-28. The reading will take place at 9:00pm. Will post more details when available.

The Abingdon Theatre in New York City did a reading of Causality as part of their First Reading Series.

22 February 2007
My short piece, Three Choices, a winner of the The Pomegranate Theatre's (Chesterfield, UK) New Playwriting Festival, was performed as a warm-up for their production of Art by Yasmina Reza.

19-27 January 2007
Causality received its first production at the Oglebay Institute's Towngate Theater in Wheeling, West Virginia, having won their 2006 National Playwriting Contest.
